QK Honeycomb Products Ltd has recently achieved FSC Chain of Custody certification for a specific range of products – Q10 FSC boards and panels. All those involved in the process worked hard to achieve certification and the Company is proud to be able to offer these products, in the knowledge that they comply with the highest of social and economic standards. Several Marks and Spencer stores have already been supplied with FSC compliant window baffles, with more contracts currently being quoted.

In 2011, QK Honeycomb Products Ltd made a significant investment in a Brandt edgebanding line.  A large part of the Company’s work is channelled towards the leisure vehicle industry which, with current economic restraints, requires smaller batch quantities, shorter lead times and more diverse product types. The machine allows for quick changes to programming giving more flexibility in panel processing, along with dramatically improving edge bond quality. Increased capacity over manually adjusted equipment and better efficiency means that QK can be more competitive in tendering for work in all markets.
