New name for UK's leading lightweight honeycomb panel manufacturer

QK Honeycomb Products Ltd is the new name of the UK's leading manufacturer of bespoke, lightweight honeycomb panels.

Formerly Quinton & Kaines (Holdings) Ltd, QK Honeycomb Products already supplies many of Europe’s best-known names in such sectors as retail, furniture and exhibitions. It also produces furniture for prominent touring and motor caravan manufacturers.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Tex Holdings plc, took the strategic decision to change its name in order to benefit fully from a resurging interest throughout Europe in the potential of lightweight honeycomb materials.
New production and joining technologies, together with environmental pressures, are driving investment in the product as a commodity sheet material for construction and other general applications. QK Honeycomb Products has significantly increased its investment in advanced manufacturing resources, geared to its speciality of small to medium runs of precision bespoke panels for specific requirements.

The company has two UK factories, in Stowmarket, Suffolk and Brigg, Lincolnshire.
